How to Complete All Arata Stages in GHOUL://RE
After countless attempts, we've cracked the code to unlock **all three Arata stages** in *GHOUL://RE*. While the stages don't demand high gaming skills or extensive exploration, they do require substantial **Reputation grinding**—and we mean a lot!
Arata Stage 1 in GHOUL://RE
To kick things off, you need to amass **25,000 Reputation** points and achieve the rank of **Special Investigator** within the C.C.G. organization. Head to the **Commission of Counter Ghoul** (C.C.G. center) and find **Damiro D. Mado**, the NPC with headphones, on the second floor. He'll task you with collecting **10 one-eyed fragments** and **10 Kokuja fragments**.

The quickest way to gather these fragments is by defeating bosses like **Eto and Tatara**, shown below, and then crafting them at a work station. To check your Reputation, speak with **Saiyo Natsuki**, the NPC in a black suit and tie. Once you've secured **all 20 fragments**, transform them into **five one-eyed Kokuja fragments** at the crafting table. If you're struggling with bosses, refer to our *GHOUL://RE* Boss and Raid guide for strategies.

Return to **Damiro**, and he'll direct you to talk to "him". This caused confusion within the *GHOUL://RE* community, but "he" is none other than **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**. For help locating NPCs, check our guide on all **NPC locations in *GHOUL://RE***.
Arata Stage 2 in GHOUL://RE
For **Arata stages 2 and 3**, you must switch to **permadeath** (PD) mode to acquire the legendary armor. It's advisable to have a strong team, as solo missions can be challenging.
With **100,000 Reputation points** in your pocket, head to the elevator in the C.C.G. building and make your way to **the Laboratory**. There, you'll find **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, the man with the scalpel in a black suit, standing by the door.

Hand over five one-eyed Kokuja fragments along with your 100,000 Reputation, and you'll complete Stage 2, unlocking the **Arata-Proto armor**. There's been debate about the required Reputation amount, with some suggesting 75,000 or 90,000 to 100,000 points, but from our experience, **100,000 Reputation points** ensures success. Remember, play Arata stages 2 and 3 in **PD servers only** to avoid issues with the Black Reaper and secure your progress.
Arata Stage 3 in GHOUL://RE
The final Arata stage also involves **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, more fragments, and a substantial amount of cash. Again, you must be in **PD mode** to proceed.
Once you've obtained a single one-eyed Kakuja fragment and accumulated **500,000 Yen**, revisit **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair** at the C.C.G. building. After paying him, he'll teleport you to face the **Kishou Arima boss**.

To defeat this boss, you'll need at least average gaming skills, involving plenty of jumping, dodging, blocking, and dealing high damage. Kishou Arima isn't invincible; with practice, even players with moderate skills can triumph. Be prepared for potential multiple attempts, as each retry requires an additional one-eyed Kakuja fragment and another **500,000 Yen**.
Upon defeating Kishou Arima, you'll unlock the Stage 3 Arata-Proto armor. However, be aware that while the armor offers significant buffs and protection, it can be detrimental to your character's health, as detailed below.
Arata Armor Tips & Tricks
**Arata-Proto Armor Buffs**
The Arata armor is powerful but comes with a cost—it **drains your hunger** rapidly while equipped. You can't eat while wearing it across all stages, so you'll need to remove it to replenish your hunger levels.
However, the armor's advantages are significant. Firstly, **you can't be ragdolled** while wearing Arata, which is a major benefit in all scenarios. Additionally, it enhances your character's durability, making you **increasingly "tanky"** and capable of both taking and dealing substantial damage. If the armor depletes your hunger bar during combat, it will start consuming your **health bar**, so be cautious, especially in boss fights. You can always take it off when it becomes too risky and heal up.

**Reputation Grinding**
The fastest way to accumulate the necessary Reputation is by **fighting bosses in PD mode**. Despite the risk, each boss defeated in PD mode grants **1,500 Reputation** points, far more than the **500** you receive outside of PD mode. Killing Ghouls, on the other hand, only yields **100 Reputation** points per kill, making them less efficient for grinding during Arata quests.
Congratulations! You're now equipped with the knowledge to conquer all Arata stages in *GHOUL://RE*. Before you start battling, don't forget to grab the latest *GHOUL://RE* codes to boost your gameplay from the get-go.
