Butterfly Effects Flutter to iOS with Reviver's Arrival

Author : Sadie Jan 17,2025

Reviver: Butterfly, the charming indie title, is finally fluttering onto iOS and Android! Initially slated for a winter 2024 release, it's now set to debut on January 17th. For those unfamiliar, we previously highlighted this unique game back in October.

It appears the mobile versions will be released under slightly different names: Reviver: Butterfly and Reviver: Premium. Despite the naming variations, both versions offer the same core experience: you'll subtly manipulate the lives of two lovers, guiding their destinies from youth to old age without ever directly interacting with them.

The game's wholesome and intriguing premise is its strength. You'll witness the ripple effects of your actions as you orchestrate their eventual union.

A Butterfly's Flight to Mobile

The challenges of releasing indie games on mobile are often underestimated, particularly regarding unique titles often clashing with existing app names. This naming hurdle seems to be the reason for Reviver's slightly delayed announcement, but we're thrilled to see it arrive!

The iOS app store listing reveals a free prologue, allowing potential players to sample the game's captivating narrative before committing. Additionally, mobile users will get early access to Reviver before its official Steam release.
