KCD 2 Hardcore Mode: New Perks Including Sore Back and Clumsy Steps

For those who found *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* a bit too easy, rejoice! Warhorse Studios is rolling out an exciting update that promises to crank up the difficulty. The upcoming patch introduces a hardcore mode, giving players the power to toggle specific perks that heap negative effects on our protagonist, Henricus, transforming the gameplay into a more challenging and immersive experience.

Players will have the option to select from a variety of demanding perks, each designed to throw a unique set of hurdles into the mix:

  • The "sore back" perk slashes the maximum weight Henricus can carry and ups the chances of getting injured while foraging for herbs and mushrooms. It's a real backbreaker!
  • Opt for the "heavy footsteps" perk, and watch Henricus's shoes wear out quicker, while his steps become louder, making stealth missions a lot trickier.
  • With the "dimwit" perk, experience gain slows down by a whopping 20%. Warhorse Studios couldn't resist emphasizing this drawback twice in the perk description—guess they really want you to feel the impact!
  • Choose the "sweaty" perk, and Henricus will get dirtier and smellier faster, which can sour social interactions in no time.
  • Lastly, the "ugly mug" perk increases the chances of random encounters turning into tough fights, as enemies won't surrender and will battle to the bitter end.

These new additions are crafted to enrich the world of *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, offering a more demanding and engaging adventure for players eager for a sterner test of their skills.
