The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Buffer Weight Stock attachment is boosting the power of certain weapons, but unlocking and using it isn't straightforward. Here's how to get and equip this game-changer.
Unlocking the Buffer Weight Stock
Unlike most attachments earned through gameplay, the Buffer Weight Stock is a community unlock tied to The Hit List event. Access the "Event" tab in the Black Ops 6 Multiplayer main menu. Find the "Community" section; the Buffer Weight Stock will be listed there—simply viewing the page unlocks it. The community goal of eight billion eliminations has already been met.
Equipping the Buffer Weight Stock
Unfortunately, this powerful attachment is limited to only three weapons: the XM4 Assault Rifle, the DM-10 Marksman Rifle, and the XMG Light Machine Gun. Its significant accuracy boost makes it highly desirable, but its limited compatibility prevents it from dominating the game.
To equip it on one of these eligible weapons, simply navigate to the Gunsmith in the game. It's listed as a Stock attachment and can be added to your build with ease. Then, put it to the test and contribute to unlocking the remaining Hit List rewards!
