Application Description

This app puts your brain to the test by demonstrating the Stroop Effect. It highlights the fascinating conflict between visual processing (what your eyes see) and cognitive processing (what your brain understands) of color information.

The Stroop test challenges your brain's speed and accuracy. Neuroscience tells us that eye signals reach the brain faster than rational thought. Under time pressure, this difference creates a compelling urge to choose the wrong answer, requiring focus and conscious effort to select the correct option.

How to Play:

  1. Choose one of two modes: "Get Meaning, Put Color" (the default) or "Get Color, Put Meaning."
  2. Answer questions by clicking the appropriate colored button.
  3. Aim for as many correct answers as possible.
  4. Once you master accuracy, focus on improving your speed.

Key Features:

  1. Two game modes: "Get Meaning, Put Color" and "Get Color, Put Meaning."
  2. Sequential question presentation.
  3. Results display after completion.
  4. High score tracking for each mode.
  5. Customizable color palettes.
