Flame Keeper: Dynamic Action, Rogue-Lite Game

Developed by Kautki Cave and published by Untold Tales, Flame Keeper is a new roguelite experience now available on Android. The game was initially announced in December 2022, launched on PC in June 2024, and had earlier debuted on Steam via early access in December 2023.

Spend your own life force to advance

In Flame Keeper, you play as Ignis—a living coal tasked with reigniting the Eternal Flame across the fractured world of Orbis. Though skilled in combat, Ignis must sacrifice his own health to recharge each Fire Camp. So while working to restore light to the world, he is gradually consuming himself.

The game features punch combos, flame dashes, powerful stomps, multi-enemy finishers, and more. Stamina plays a vital role, acting as both your ally and your main constraint. If you attack carelessly without watching your stamina, you can easily end up cornered and unable to defend yourself.

As you progress, each biome becomes more difficult and introduces new enemy types—adaptability is key. The Bestiary slowly uncovers enemy strengths and vulnerabilities, though experience will still be your best teacher.

Progression focuses on customizing Ignis with new skills and passive abilities. Defeating enemies yields seeds that unlock new moves, while completing tasks rewards runes. This unlocks extensive build variety.

One of Flame Keeper's standout features is Vulpis Village, which welcomes you at the start of every stage. This evolving hub adapts with your progress and lets you enhance abilities and structures using collected resources.

Are you ready to become the Flame Keeper?

Flame Keeper offers a fresh concept supported by strong core gameplay. You can purchase it on the Google Play Store for $4.99. For a limited time, Untold Tales is offering a launch discount, allowing you to get the game for just $3.49.
