Genshin Impact Glitch: Massive Boss Damage Exploit Discovered

Genshin Impact players eagerly awaiting the 5.4 update in a week can currently exploit a surprising tactic to effortlessly defeat even the toughest bosses, regardless of their massive health pools. Ironically, this exploit centers around the Hydro Traveler, a character often deemed one of the game's weakest DPS options.

The exploit's mechanics are surprisingly straightforward. Utilizing the Hydro Traveler's Elemental Burst in conjunction with Xiao Lanterns (obtained during the Lantern Rite Festival) is the key. The process involves strategically placing a significant number of Xiao Lanterns near a boss, then activating the Hydro Traveler's Elemental Burst. This results in a dramatic and unexpected reduction in the boss's health.

This amplified damage output stems from the Elemental Burst's interaction with the lanterns, significantly increasing its area-of-effect damage. With a sufficient number of lanterns (around a hundred), the resulting damage can reach into the millions.

While this exploit is undoubtedly a temporary phenomenon and likely to be patched in a future update, it currently provides players with an unusually easy method to overcome challenging boss encounters.
