Watch Dogs: Truth lets you play the Ubisoft series on mobile (sort of)

Author : Bella Jan 18,2025

Ubisoft's hacking-focused Watch Dogs series is finally branching out to mobile devices! However, it's not quite the mobile game you might envision. Instead, Watch Dogs: Truth, an interactive audio adventure, has launched on Audible.

Players shape the narrative by making crucial decisions that influence Dedsec's next move. This choose-your-own-adventure style, a format dating back to the 1930s, places players in a near-future London where Dedsec confronts a new threat. The AI Bagley guides players through the story, offering advice after each episode.

Interestingly, the Watch Dogs franchise and Clash of Clans share a similar age, making this mobile debut somewhat surprising. While the audio adventure format is unconventional for the series, the concept holds promise, especially given the franchise's popularity. The relatively low-key marketing, however, is noteworthy.

The unique approach and limited promotion raise questions about Watch Dogs: Truth's reception. It remains to be seen how well this innovative foray into mobile gaming will resonate with players. The gaming community will undoubtedly be watching closely to gauge its success.
