A platform to reconnect with your alumni and collaborate on career and business opportunities.
Welcome back to your academic community!
Talaash is a social network designed to reconnect you with your school and college days. It brings together classmates and alumni from various institutions on a single platform. Beyond simple alumni connections, Talaash fosters a knowledgeable community for more prosperous activities, such as facilitating business between alumni, supporting each other's career growth, and helping fellow members—including your alumni—access higher education opportunities. Anyone who has received education from an accredited school, college, university, or certified educational center can join Talaash.
News Feed in Talaash
As a mobile app for collaboration among those who share an educational background, Talaash's News Feed delivers consolidated updates from your alumni, batchmates, and close connections. It serves as the homepage for every Talaash user. This feed is free from ads, politically biased content, and hate-driven messages. It only shows posts from your batchmates and alumni, and similarly, you can share posts visible to your alumni and batchmates, just like on any other social media.
Friend Zone in Talaash
The Friend Zone in Talaash helps you reconnect with friends you may have lost touch with after your education. This section forms the app's foundation, serving as the base for user communication across all other parts of Talaash. When users register their alma mater, year, and level of education, they are classified as alumni and batch buddies to relevant users. Through personal connections and mutual acceptance, users can build their network from their alumni and batch buddies. Talaash also enables users to gather their collective alumni in one place.
Market Zone in Talaash
Version 3.0 of Talaash introduces the Market Zone, allowing users to seek and offer products or services to and from other relevant users within Talaash. This feature helps business providers and potential consumers identify opportunities among their connections, alumni, batch buddies, and other Talaash users. With the Market Zone, Talaash aims to promote daily active engagement that goes beyond standard alumni networking.
Career Zone in Talaash
Starting from version 3.0, Talaash includes a Career Zone for members seeking a new job or a better position. Based on a user's current profession, they can identify alumni and other Talaash users in the same field to collaborate on career opportunities. Additionally, users can post or search for job listings.
Users can also seek mentorship for higher education and research from relevant Talaash members. Furthermore, they can request feedback from distinguished alumni or communicate with institutions regarding admissions for themselves or their family members.
Security and Privacy
Talaash adheres to all necessary industry standards for user security and privacy. It employs multi-factor authentication for registration and login, giving users greater control over profile access.
The information Talaash collects is limited to your name, education, and professional details, in addition to the multi-factor security channels, thereby safeguarding your privacy as effectively as possible.
