ACEplus is a dynamic and engaging new app. The acronym A-C-E stands for Achieve, Confidence, and English.
Achieve: For learners to Achieve, they need essential thinking, emotional, and social 'life skills' to understand their surroundings and navigate everyday situations effectively.
Confidence: To succeed, learners need confidence. Building confidence requires self-belief and the ability to interact positively and assuredly with others.
English: Without focusing on complex grammar rules, learners explore vocabulary-building games and pronunciation exercises to improve their spoken English accuracy and fluency.
This innovative app helps students Achieve key life skills, build Confidence, and improve their English communication abilities.
This platform helps students develop five essential 21st-century skills for success:
i. Life Skills, ii. Cognitive Skills, iii. Spoken English Skills, iv. Interpersonal Skills, v. Communication Skills.
Our courses are designed to teach skills typically beyond the standard school curriculum. They are not age-specific but are ideal for students aged 8 to 18.
ACEPlus uses a hybrid teaching model, combining the best of both worlds. This includes friendly interactive videos, scientifically-designed exercises, colorful educational games, and LIVE feedback sessions with trained skill coaches.
The App is organized into 6 main sections:
i. Guru Speak
Here, ACE achievers share personal success stories and tips for gaining confidence.
ii. Learning Zone
Includes three courses: Beginner, Advanced, and Expert. Each course has 5 self-paced modules, followed by interactive Zoom feedback sessions with a specialized skill coach.
iii. Spoken English
Currently features a standalone course with ten modules called "How to Speak Better English with Derek." Derek O'Brien teaches phonetics, correct pronunciation, and confident communication.
iv. Gaming Zone
Offers specially designed games focusing on knowledge, logic, memory, vocabulary, and problem-solving, presented in an engaging and interactive format.
v. Self-Growth
A collection of motivational audio stories, pronunciation guides, British vs. American accent differences, and exercises for decision-making and critical thinking.
vi. ACEplus Dictionary
A handy reference for all difficult words in the app, complete with definitions.
