"2016 Clue Suspects Now on Mobile"

Marmalade Game Studio has just released the 2016 Suspects Pack for the digital version of Clue, also known as Cluedo. If you're a fan of this classic murder-mystery game, you'll be thrilled to dive back into the action with some of the iconic characters from the 2016 edition.

Who Are the 2016 Clue aka Cluedo Suspects?

The 2016 Suspects Pack brings back beloved characters such as Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Reverend Green, Professor Plum, Dr. Orchid, and Mrs. Peacock. This pack focuses solely on these characters, allowing you to incorporate them into any scenario you desire without being tied to specific crime scenes or case files. This flexibility lets you choose your nostalgic favorite and mix them with the newer 2023 cast for a personalized gaming experience.

The demand for these characters has been strong among fans, particularly after the introduction of the more modern 2023 characters. It's great to see Marmalade Game Studio responding to player feedback and bringing back these classic suspects.

There’s More Coming to the Game!

In addition to the 2016 Suspects Pack, Clue aka Cluedo is introducing a new Retro Rules Set game mode. This mode, available for free, lets you play by the original 1949 rules, offering a nostalgic twist to the gameplay. The Retro Rules Set reintroduces old-school mechanics that alter how you move and make accusations.

In this mode, tokens start at designated spots on the board, and Miss Scarlet always makes the first move, unless she's absent, in which case Colonel Mustard takes the lead. Accusations can only be made when you're in a room, and Clue Cards are entirely removed. Additionally, you cannot move through squares occupied by other players.
