Master the Black Ops 6 Emergence Mission: A Comprehensive Guide

The Emergence mission in Black Ops 6, a pivotal point in the acclaimed Call of Duty campaign, significantly deviates from traditional gameplay. This guide provides a detailed walkthrough.

Navigating the Kentucky BioTech Facility

Mannequin with HatchetThe mission begins with Case and Marshall inside a Kentucky BioTech facility, navigating a toxic environment in gas masks. An elevator malfunction leads to a gas mask breach, triggering hallucinations. After the cutscene, locate a red-lit locked door. Use a hatchet (found on a mannequin) to break it open. Proceed through the hallway, up the stairs, and to the central elevator.

Accessing the Biotechnology Room

Central Room with DeskActivating the elevator transforms mannequins into zombies. Eliminate them with your hatchet. A phone call from the circular desk directs you to the biotechnology room, requiring four director's cards (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow). You'll receive a map leading to the Yellow card.

Acquiring the Yellow Card and Grappling Hook

From the security console, follow the map to a yellow staircase. Solve the computer puzzle in the Director's office (answers: "Access" and "Lift"). More zombies await in the A.C.R. room.

Grappling HookThe yellow card is held by a mannequin that transforms into an abomination. Before engaging, gather armor, weapons, and crucially, the grappling hook. Use explosives (C4 or grenades) to efficiently eliminate the abomination and its zombie horde. Retrieve the Yellow Card.

Obtaining the Green Card

Use the grappling hook to ascend from the A.C.R. room. Locate the grappling point to the left of the elevator to reach the Administration Facility. Another phone call initiates a file-finding puzzle. Four documents must be placed in the file display area.

File PuzzleMannequins will pursue you; however, they freeze when you turn. Quickly locate the files (one on a corner desk, one near a round table, one on a small central table, and one in the cafe). Defeat the resulting Mangler Zombie to obtain the Green Card.

Securing the Blue Card

Grapple across from the Administration balcony to the Joint Projects Facility. Answer the ringing phone. Find the Blue Card within the glass chamber, but be prepared for a Mimic encounter. Shoot moving objects to lure it out and eliminate it to claim the Blue Card.

Confronting the Mimic

Mimic BossThe Mimic's ability to disappear requires strategic object shooting to trigger its transformations. Eliminate it to retrieve the Blue Card and proceed to the Red Card.

Retrieving the Red Card

Navigate to the East Wing, following the red carpets to a room with water, a console, and a Mangler. Interact with the console to reveal the Red Card. Use the grappling hook to reach the upper area, swim through the red tunnel, and climb the ladders. Clear the zombies and unlock the door using the blacklight code.

Red CardActivate the timer and turn all drain switches within 25 seconds. One is in the starting room, one in the unlocked room, and the last requires grappling. After draining the water, pursue the Mangler to obtain the Red Card.

Final Showdown with the Disciple

DiscipleInsert all four cards into the security desk. Take the elevator to the top floor. A phone call initiates a confrontation with numerous zombies and the Disciple. Overcome this final challenge to complete the mission. The subsequent cinematic reveals the events as a hallucination.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
