Carrion Horror Game Coming to Mobile, Satisfies Cannibalistic Cravings

Devolver Digital's impressive Android game library, boasting titles like GRIS, Reigns: Her Majesty, Downwell, and Reigns: Game of Thrones, is about to get even better. The acclaimed "reverse-horror" game, Carrion, is making its mobile debut on October 31st.

Initially released for PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One in July 2020, Carrion offers a unique take on the horror genre. Developed by Phobia Game Studio and published by Devolver Digital, the mobile version promises the same chilling experience.

Carrion Mobile: Unleash the Terror

In Carrion, you play as a terrifying creature from a nightmare – and you are the horror. Control a mysterious red blob as it slithers, claws, and devours everything in its path. This "reverse horror" game flips the script; instead of survival, you're the source of terror.

Trapped within a high-security Relith Science research facility, you, The Monster, were subjected to extensive experimentation. Your escape is imminent, and your revenge is swift. Consume scientists, security guards, and anyone else who stands in your way. Navigate vents, smash through doors, and unleash your tentacles to wreak havoc. Carrion mobile faithfully recreates the PC version's thrilling blend of panic and destruction.

Progress through the game unlocks upgrades, enabling you to breach barriers and grow in size. See a glimpse of the action below:

Fans of Metroidvania-style games will appreciate Carrion's masterful blend of exploration and progression. The pixel art style gives the game a surprisingly charming aesthetic, despite the gruesome gameplay.

Carrion mobile offers a free trial. Unlock the full game and its DLC with a single in-app purchase. Pre-register on the Google Play Store today or download it directly on October 31st.
