Destiny 2 Weekly Reset: December 24, 2024 – Activities, Challenges, and Rewards
Another week, another Destiny 2 reset! While the game currently sits between major story acts, and player count concerns linger, the Dawning event continues, offering a final chance to bake cookies and earn rewards. Bungie has even added a community challenge element to boost rare emblem drop rates—over 3 million cookies were baked for Commander Zavala! This week's reset brings refreshed content, activities, and rewards. Let's dive in!
Weekly Nightfall and Modifiers
Nightfall Strike: The Inverted Spire
Modifiers: This week's Nightfall features a challenging mix of modifiers across Advanced, Expert, Master, and Grandmaster difficulties. Expect Barrier and Overload Champions, increased enemy health and stun resistance (Galvanized), elemental damage boosts (Surge and Overcharge), and various other difficulty increases. Grandmaster adds Chaff (radar disabled) and other punishing modifiers.
Nightfall Weapon: Rake Angle (Glaive)
Episode: Revenant Challenges (Week 12)
This week's Revenant challenges require crafting tonics, completing Moon activities, breaking shields with matching damage types, securing special ammo final blows, and dominating in Momentum Control.
Exotic Mission Rotation
This week's featured Exotic Mission is Presage, offering a chance to earn the Dead Man's Tale Exotic Scout Rifle.
Raid and Dungeon Rotation
Bungie's rotating Raid and Dungeon system continues, offering updated rewards. This week's featured Raids are Vault of Glass and Crota's End, while Grasp of Avarice and Warlord's Ruin are the featured Dungeons.

Legacy Activities and Challenges
Several legacy activities across Europa, Neomuna, the Throne World, the Moon, and the Dreaming City offer opportunities for rewards and challenge completion. This includes Empire Hunts, Incursion Zones, weekly story missions, Altars of Reflection, and more. Nightmare Hunts also rotate weekly.
Dares of Eternity Rotation
