Diablo 4 Latest Updates
Infinite Damage Build Boss Powers Makes Servers Lag
The newest season of Diablo 4 introduces seasonal boss powers that, when combined effectively, can create an infinite damage build, significantly impacting server performance. A video by YouTuber Macrobioboi, released on May 9, showcases this powerful setup, annihilating rooms full of enemies using specific boss powers and the Vampiric Curse Legendary Aspect.
To execute this build, players must equip the Vampiric Curse Legendary Aspect, which inflicts a Vulnerable status effect on enemies, enhancing damage and extending the Vulnerable state until the enemy's demise.
Additionally, the Flesh Reaper's Disruption boss power stuns enemies without removing the Vulnerable effect due to Vampiric Curse, causing repeated stuns. Complementing this, Varshan's Life Steal boss power delivers substantial damage each time a boss power is activated.
The combination of these effects results in numerous calculations that strain the game's servers, leading to noticeable lag. As demonstrated in wudijo's YouTube video, the screen is overwhelmed with skills and abilities, leaving enemies perpetually stunned. Wudijo commented, "There are a lot of calculations going on, it's very understandable that this is a laggy build."
Blizzard Entertainment has not yet addressed this issue, allowing players to continue using this build to take down hordes of enemies at the cost of game performance.
Worrying Prices with Berserk Collab
Diablo 4's collaboration with the renowned manga Berserk introduces fans to exclusive cosmetics and items. However, the steep prices of these sets have raised concerns among the community.
Players can earn Behelits by playing the game, which they can then use to unlock free cosmetics from the Berserk Reliquary, including:
● Hawks Destiny Back Trophy
● Skull Knight’s Heraldry Mount Armor
● Brand of Sacrifice Marking
● Foretold Eclipse Headstone
● Od of the Berserker Emblem
The premium offerings, however, are where the collaboration truly shines, featuring iconic Berserk armors and sets available for purchase with Diablo 4's premium currency, Platinum:
● The Berserker Armor, Barbarian - 2,800 Platinum
● The Hawk of Light, Rogue - 2,800 Platinum
● The Struggler, Rogue - 2,800 Platinum
● The Skull Knight, Necromancer - 2,800 Platinum
● The Schnoz, Pet Bundle - 2,800 Platinum
● Warhorse of the Hawk, Mount and Mount Armor - 2,500 Platinum
Each premium skin costs approximately $28, which is nearly half the price of the base game. Purchasing the entire collection would set players back $150 or require buying the 15,000 Platinum bundle, which comes with an additional 3,500 Platinum.
Despite the high quality of these items, the pricing has left many fans hesitant. This pricing model mirrors previous collaborations, such as with World of Warcraft, hinting at potential future trends for Diablo 4's crossover events. Fans are thus weighing the value against the cost before committing to these Berserk-themed sets.
