Logic Puzzler Is This Seat Taken? Launches on Android

Is This Seat Taken? is a charming new puzzle game for Android that offers a cozy and lighthearted experience. Developed by Poti Poti Studio and published by Wholesome Games (the creators of Minami Lane and MakeRoom), it delivers a surprising amount of warmth. Your goal is to help characters feel understood and comfortable in their surroundings.

A world of quirks and conflicting personalities awaits...

Is This Seat Taken? presents logic puzzles based on everyday social dilemmas we've all witnessed but rarely had to solve ourselves. From packed buses and movie theaters to awkward weddings and shared taxi rides, the scenarios are endlessly relatable.

Each new setting presents a unique challenge: you must assign seats according to each person's specific preferences. For instance, someone wearing strong cologne shouldn't be placed next to a guest with a sensitive nose.

Likewise, a tired commuter probably won't appreciate sitting beside a music lover playing loud tunes through their headphones. Your job is to carefully accommodate everyone from fussy banquet attendees to sleepy travelers, finding the perfect arrangement without any rush.

The story follows Nat, an aspiring actor whose journey begins after spotting a shape just like themself on a movie screen. This moment of unexpected recognition sparks a global adventure in search of identity and belonging. Nat's personal narrative unfolds across various cities and levels.

A blend of calm gameplay and gentle humor

Solving puzzles unlocks new scenarios, such as cramped taxi rides and elaborate banquets. Every level introduces a fresh cast of particular characters with strong seating preferences. Some insist on a window seat, others demand the aisle, and some simply want to avoid certain people entirely.

The characters are sentient shapes with very definite opinions about their neighbors. The game's absurd yet familiar logic will likely make you smile at the real-world parallels. Watch the official launch trailer below, and be sure to check out the game on the Google Play Store.
