Krafton's highly anticipated life simulator, inZOI, has been delayed until March 28, 2025, to ensure a robust and polished launch. This decision, announced by director Hyungjin "Kjun" Kim on the game's Discord server, prioritizes delivering a complete and satisfying player experience.
The delay, Kjun explained, is a direct result of overwhelmingly positive feedback from character creator demos and playtests. The team recognized the importance of meeting player expectations and delivering a truly exceptional game. He likened the development process to raising a child, emphasizing the commitment to nurturing inZOI until it's ready.
"After reviewing your feedback from inZOI… we have made our decision to release inZOI in Early Access on March 28, 2025," stated Kjun. "We apologize that we could not bring you the game sooner, but this decision reflects our commitment to giving inZOI the best possible start."
The character creator alone attracted 18,657 concurrent players during its brief availability on Steam before its removal on August 25, 2024, demonstrating significant player interest. This delay, while potentially frustrating for some, underscores Krafton’s dedication to quality. It aims to avoid the pitfalls of releasing an unfinished product, unlike some recent life simulation titles. The revised release date, however, positions inZOI in direct competition with Paralives, another highly anticipated life simulator slated for a 2025 release.
