The Appearance of Promo Card 008
The Promo Card section appeared complete until January 2025, when a new, unobtainable card, Promo Card 008, materialized between Professor Oak (007) and Pikachu (009) in the Promo – A Card Dex. While its existence might have been present earlier, it only recently became visible as a blank slot. This has left players eager to learn how to acquire it.
Unveiling Promo Card 008
Although currently unobtainable, investigating related cards (like Red Card 006 or Pokedex 004) reveals a preview of Promo Card 008. It's an alternate art Pokedex featuring Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle.
The card's description states it will be "obtained from a campaign," similar to the New Year 2025 Pikachu (Promo 026). This differs from cards acquired through missions or Wonder Pick events, suggesting a promotional giveaway tied to a future event or anniversary.
The exact release date and acquisition method remain unknown, but hopefully, this gap in the collection will soon be filled. In the meantime, players can temporarily hide unowned cards from the viewable list.
