The game's chilling premise centers around Peccatomania, a terrifying disease causing widespread chaos. Initially manifesting as disturbing nightmares, the illness progresses to hallucinations and ultimately, violent outbursts. This affliction has plagued the world for centuries, slowly driving people to madness.

Hope, however, exists within the virtual world of Archetype Arcadia. This online game offers the only known means of slowing Peccatomania's progression. Players enter the game, risking their own sanity to fight for survival. Our protagonist, Rust, enters this digital battleground to save his sister, Kristin, who has fallen victim to the disease. Even as the real world crumbles, Archetype Arcadia persists, a digital sanctuary where players cling to their sanity.
