Stalker 2: Unlock the Enigmatic Brain Scorcher

The Brain Scorcher, a landmark location in the Stalker universe, also features in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Within this area lies a seemingly inaccessible Tamper-Proof Stash, secured within a locked warehouse. However, a clever workaround avoids the need for a key. This guide details how to access the stash via an alternative route.

Accessing the Brain Scorcher Warehouse

Locate the Brain Scorcher in the northern Malachite region of Stalker 2. The Tamper-Proof Stash, marked on your map, will lead you to a warehouse with a locked door. This is not the intended entry point.

Follow these steps to enter:

  1. Circumnavigate the warehouse to the left, ascending the orange stairs to a stack of boxes.
  2. Utilize the boxes to leap over the containers to your right, progressing to the next set of containers.
  3. Jump over the crane on your right, proceeding to its end.
  4. Descend onto the containers below, navigating a zigzag path to an opening at the rear of the warehouse.

Navigating the Warehouse and Looting the Stash

Inside, be cautious of trip mines obstructing the path to the Tamper-Proof Stash. Carefully disarm them as you approach the front of the warehouse.

The Stash itself, a large safe, is already unlocked. Gather the valuable contents—ammo, medkits, and other supplies.

Exiting the Brain Scorcher Warehouse

To unlock the main warehouse door, proceed right from the power panel, moving further into the warehouse. Locate a generator amongst some boxes on the floor and activate it to restore power. Return to the power panel near the entrance and flip the switch to open the locked door, providing your exit route.
