"Storm Mission Guide for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2"

Author : Gabriel May 26,2025

Stealth is a crucial strategy for completing tasks in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, especially for certain quests where it's the most effective approach. The quest "Storm" is one such mission where sneaking is essential to success.

How to Start 'Storm' in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

"Storm" serves as a pivotal quest that wraps up the main storylines in the Trosky Region and introduces you to the Kuttenberg Region. Like "For Whom the Bell Tolls," you begin "Storm" under challenging circumstances. You'll find yourself without your armor, weapons, or essential items like Saviour Schnapps, and your health is reduced due to prior torture, which also impacts your stamina.

Start by scavenging some gear from the guards that Katherine dispatched during your prison break. Although their equipment isn't top-notch, it's better than nothing. Katherine also hands you her dagger, enabling you to execute stealth kills. Your next step is to ascend to the top of the Crone in Trosky. The guards along your path are spaced out enough that you can easily take them out or distract them and sneak past.

At the summit, you'll confront Istvan Toth. Since this encounter doesn't affect the quest's ultimate outcome, consider opting for the dishonorable approach if you're not confident in your combat skills. Engaging Toth in a duel is risky due to your compromised health. After dealing with him, thoroughly search the room to reclaim everyone's belongings and gather crucial documents.

How to Escape Trosky in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Once you've taken care of Toth and retrieved your items, head back to the dungeon to meet up with your companions. They'll gear up and brief you about the escape tunnels. Simply follow them to make this part of the quest straightforward and hassle-free.

How to Sneak Through the Hills in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

The most challenging segment of "Storm" begins as you navigate through the hills. Keeping your conspicuousness to a minimum is vital to avoid detection by patrolling guards. Being spotted can quickly escalate into facing multiple enemies, and your lowered stats from torture make stealth kills or knockouts more difficult.

Begin by taking the right path and follow it uphill. This leads to a larger, more guarded path. Your goal is to reach Mika, who has been captured. Sneak up behind the guard, eliminate him, and free Mika. This not only saves your position but also provides you with Mika's guidance on your next objective.

How to Finish 'Storm' in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Prepare for an extended period of stealth. Follow the locations marked on your map according to Mika's instructions. Your route will take you eastward and southeastward to the main road in Apollonia, which you should follow southwards. Stay on the fringes and utilize the bushes to remain concealed from guards. Although the marked area on your map appears expansive, you only need to reach about halfway to trigger the concluding cutscene. Use stones to distract guards if necessary, and once the cutscene plays, your role in "Storm" is complete, and you'll proceed to the Kuttenberg Region.

"Storm" stands out as one of the few quests in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* that demands stealth rather than offering it as an option. It's advantageous if you've previously invested in leveling up your stealth skills, as the associated perks can significantly aid in staying undetected.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
