Warhorse Studios Launches Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Community Giveaway

Author : Mila May 02,2025

A heartwarming initiative on Reddit titled "Can't afford the game? Let me help" has ignited a surge of generosity within the gaming community. Launched by user verdantsf, the campaign was inspired by their own experience of receiving kindness during difficult times. Verdantsf kicked off the effort by gifting five copies of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 to fellow users, and due to the overwhelming positive feedback, they followed up with another five copies. In total, they generously distributed games valued at around $600.

The movement quickly gained momentum, inspiring approximately 30 more individuals to step up and purchase copies for those who couldn't afford the game themselves. Recognizing the incredible outpouring of support, Warhorse Studios joined in, gifting verdantsf a collector’s edition of KCD2 and replenishing their stock to continue the giveaways.

After receiving five additional copies from Warhorse, verdantsf was able to send out a third batch. "The developers are amazing. Thank you for the collector’s edition!" verdantsf expressed their gratitude, also commending the subreddit moderators for cultivating such a supportive community.

Reflecting on the initiative, verdantsf remarked, "It's incredible to see so many community members coming together to support each other in challenging times. A big thank you to the 30 people who bought KCD2 for others. Teamwork makes the dream work!"

Assuming each participant bought one copy for someone else, it’s estimated that over $2,000 was collectively spent on purchasing and gifting Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This extraordinary display of community spirit, enhanced by Warhorse Studios' generous contribution, underscores the power of goodwill within the gaming world—a truly uplifting and rare occurrence.
