How to play 101 Okey VIP without internet:

Okey 101 is played over multiple rounds with four players. The goal is to finish with the fewest points. The player with the lowest total points after all rounds wins. Points are based on the numbers on your remaining tiles (e.g., a red 3 = 3 points, a black 11 = 11 points). The game ends when no tiles are left to draw or when a player completes their hand.

Getting Started with the Game:

Once a dealer is chosen, they deal 21 tiles to each player and give 22 tiles to the player on their right. The remaining tiles stay facedown on the table, except one that is revealed face-up. This face-up tile determines the joker (the OKEY tile). Play proceeds counterclockwise. The player to the dealer's right, who holds 22 tiles, starts by discarding one tile without drawing. The player to their right goes next. On your turn, you either draw from the deck or take the last tile discarded by the previous player. After drawing, if your arranged sets total 101 points, you may open your hand (place your sets on the table). When opening, you place your sets beside other open sets on the table. If you cannot lay down tiles, you end your turn by discarding a tile. Every player must end their turn by discarding a tile, even if they open their entire hand.

Joker (Okey Tile or Riziko):

The tile that determines the joker changes each game. Two fake joker tiles represent the number one higher than the face-up indicator tile. Jokers have a distinct appearance. The numbers on real jokers (which vary per game based on the face-up tile) are represented by the 'fake jokers'. For example, if the indicator is a blue 5, the real jokers are the two blue 6s in play. Fake jokers count as blue 6 in value.

Deals and Showing Hands:

You need at least 101 points to open your hand. To open, you must have three or four sets: either same-number sets of different colors (e.g., black 5, red 5, blue 5) or sequential same-color runs (e.g., red 7, 8, 9). Each set must have at least three tiles. To add tiles to existing open sets, you must first reach 101 points and open your own hand. You can open your hand and add to other open sets in the same turn. If you take the previous player's discarded tile, you must use it immediately. If you haven't opened your hand yet and take this tile, you must open your hand with it, and the taken tile must be part of one of your opened sets. You cannot keep it in your hand. If the tile cannot be used to form a set or open a hand, it is returned, and you draw from the deck. No penalty points are given for this.

Doubles:

Another way to open is by collecting at least five pairs of identical tiles. Once you open with doubles, you cannot open with normal sets again that game. However, you can still add tiles to other players' open sets on the table.
