Storyline
Your journey begins near the village of Riders, deep within a quiet forest. There, three young friends—the hero, Lilia, and Cheval—discover a glowing egg. They jokingly perform the Rite of Kinship, only to be stunned when it actually works!
The egg hatches, revealing a baby Rathalos, a majestic flying wyvern known as the “King of the Skies.” The group lovingly names him “Ratha” and brings him back to the village.
However, peace doesn’t last long. One day, a monstrous creature infected by “the Black Blight” attacks the village. Though they manage to repel it, the attack leaves devastation in its wake—and emotional scars on Lilia and Cheval.
A year later, the hero receives a Kinship Stone from the Village Chief and officially becomes a Rider. Meanwhile, Lilia and Cheval each depart on their own paths. Now separated from his childhood friends, the hero teams up with the cheerful Navirou to begin a brand-new adventure across the world of hunters.

Due to changes in Google Play Games services, the Network Battle feature has been discontinued as of March 31, 2020. However, following the update to Ver.1.0.2, all Titles previously earned through Battle Ranks remain accessible. - Additional Notes:
- You must accept the Monster Hunter Stories End User License Agreement upon launching the app for the first time.
- This app includes the same introductory story featured in the handheld console version.
- Some features from the handheld version—including select collaboration events, amiibo support, local multiplayer battles, and StreetPass functionality—are not available in this mobile release.
- Deleting the app will result in the loss of all saved game data.
- A Wi-Fi connection is required to download and install the app.
- Battle Party QR codes from the Japanese version are not supported in this version.
