Epic Cards Battle 3: A Strategic Card Battler Worth Exploring?

Epic Cards Battle 3, the latest installment from momoStorm Entertainment, plunges players into a captivating world of strategic fantasy battles. This collectible card game (CCG) builds upon its predecessors, offering a compelling blend of strategy, tactical combat, and card collecting.

The game boasts diverse gameplay modes, including PVP, PVE, RPG, and even Auto Chess-style battles. Players navigate a vibrant fantasy realm populated by magical heroes and mystical creatures. A key distinction from previous titles lies in ECB3's innovative card design, incorporating a Genshin-inspired battle framework.

Eight distinct factions – Shrine, Dragonborn, Elves, Nature, Demons, Darkrealm, Dynasty, and Segiku – vie for dominance. Each creature or minion belongs to one of six professions, ranging from warriors and tanks to assassins and warlocks. Hidden rare cards can be unearthed through pack openings or card enhancements, with a promised card exchange system on the horizon.

Adding another layer of depth is a robust elemental system encompassing Ice, Fire, Earth, Storm, Light, Shadow, Lightning, and Toxic elements, significantly impacting spell effectiveness. Battles unfold on a 4x7 mini-chessboard, demanding strategic card placement. A Speed Run mode further challenges players to optimize their gameplay.

Should You Dive In?

While Epic Cards Battle 3 offers a wealth of features and strategic depth, it's not necessarily a beginner-friendly experience. The game's complexity and potential performance issues warrant a trial run before committing fully. While showing inspiration from titles like Storm Wars, whether or not it resonates with you is a matter of personal preference.

If you're seeking a new CCG, Epic Cards Battle 3 is available for free on the Google Play Store. Alternatively, for a different gaming experience, explore our review of Narqubis, a new space survival third-person shooter on Android.
