April 2025 PlayStation Plus Games Unveiled

Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus Essential titles for April 2025, featuring RoboCop: Rogue City (PS5), The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (PS4, PS5), and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory (PS4). These games were detailed in a recent PlayStation.Blog post and will be available to subscribers starting April 1, free of charge, until the next update on May 5.

The April 2025 lineup caters to diverse gaming tastes. RoboCop: Rogue City, developed by Teyon and Nacon, immerses players in a first-person shooter experience as Alex Murphy, tasked with saving Detroit from a new wave of crime. A significant update last January introduced a New Game Plus mode, enhancing replayability. Our review praised the game with a score of 7/10, highlighting its faithful '80s aesthetic and engaging gameplay.

For fans of multiplayer horror, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre from Sumo Digital and Gun Media offers an intense asymmetrical multiplayer experience. Players can either survive or hunt as members of the Slaughter Family, with the chilling presence of Leatherface and his chainsaw. Our initial review rated it at 6/10, appreciating its thrilling yet challenging gameplay.

Lastly, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory by Bandai Namco provides a more relaxed pace with its turn-based monster collecting gameplay. Released in 2018, this title expands the universe with over 320 Digimon to discover and collect, offering a fresh perspective on the original Cyber Sleuth story.

As these exciting titles join the PlayStation Plus lineup, remember to download the March 2025 games before March 31. The previous month's selection included Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Sonic Colors: Ultimate, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, offering a robust library for subscribers to enjoy.
