Open World ARPG Emerges from Shadow as Testing Nears

Wang Yue, a fantasy ARPG, is gearing up for its technical test phase after securing its publishing license in China. This initial test will allow developers to identify bugs and gather player feedback before a full release.

A World Divided

Wang Yue's test presents a world ravaged by a malevolent sun, fractured into two floating continents due to unusual gravitational forces. Tian Yue City, a breathtaking inverted metropolis, hangs precariously in the sky above a ruined landscape. Players assume the role of Qing Wu, a mysterious character thrust into this chaotic reality after a betrayal. Qing Wu must unravel the mysteries surrounding the sun's newfound reverence, the upside-down city, and the shadowy figures seeking their demise.

Player Agency and Dynamic Interactions

Rejecting traditional open-world tropes, Wang Yue emphasizes exploration and player choice. Soar through the skies above Tian Yue City or delve into the secrets hidden within the ruins below. The game world reacts dynamically to player actions; behave recklessly and face the consequences, or aid others and reap the rewards. NPCs aren't static; they respond to your choices, adding a layer of realism and unpredictability.

The development team encourages player participation. Future discussions, design contests, and other community events will provide opportunities to shape the game's development. Registration for the technical test is now open on the official website.
