Mackenyu Arata Voices Key Character Gennojo
Mackenyu will provide both English and Japanese voice acting for Gennojo, a pivotal character within Assassin's Creed Shadows' feudal Japan setting. Ubisoft describes Gennojo as a complex individual: a charming rogue with a playful demeanor, yet driven by a deep-seated desire for justice and a commitment to dismantling corruption. He's a risk-taker, willing to sacrifice everything to achieve his goals, particularly when it comes to protecting the vulnerable.
While the exact timing of Gennojo's appearance in the game remains undisclosed, his role will be significant to the storyline. According to Mackenyu himself, Gennojo belongs to a group known as the "Shinobi League," and players will essentially be able to recruit him as a companion throughout their adventure.
