Tim Burton's iconic Batman universe continues to expand with the upcoming novel, Batman: Revolution. Authored by John Jackson Miller and published by Penguin Random House, this new addition introduces the Burton-Verse's take on The Riddler. Fans can now preorder Batman: Revolution on Amazon, eagerly anticipating its release.
As reported by ComicBook.com, Revolution follows the 2024 novel Batman: Resurrection, also written by Miller. Set between the events of the 1989 Batman and 1992 Batman Returns, Revolution draws inspiration from Burton's never-realized third Batman film, which was rumored to feature Robin Williams as The Riddler.

DC Comics has also been expanding the Burton-Verse with their publications. Following the release of Batman '89, a sequel to Batman Returns featuring a Billy Dee Williams-inspired Two-Face and a Marlon Wayans-inspired Robin, they introduced Batman '89: Echoes. This comic brings in a Jeff Goldblum-inspired Scarecrow and a Madonna-inspired Harley Quinn. Additionally, DC has released two volumes of Superman '78, serving as sequels to the Christopher Reeve Superman films.
