NCSOFT has announced the end of service (EOS) for its multiplayer MOBA, Battle Crush, a surprising move considering the game never reached its full release. Following a global test in August 2023 and an early access release in June 2024, the game is shutting down just months later.
When is the Battle Crush EOS?
The game servers will officially shut down on November 29th, 2024. In-game purchases have already ceased. However, players who made in-app purchases between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024, are eligible for a refund.
Android and Steam players can request refunds from December 2nd, 2024, to January 2025. Remember to download any desired game content before November 28th, 2024, as the game will become inaccessible afterward.
The official Battle Crush website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, for any necessary support. Social media accounts and the Discord server will close on January 31st, 2025.
Was the Shutdown Surprising?
The announcement understandably disappointed players who invested time and effort into Battle Crush. While enjoyable, the game's gameplay reportedly suffered from occasional clunkiness and pacing issues. This lack of polish ultimately contributed to its premature closure.
You can still download and experience Battle Crush on the Google Play Store before its complete shutdown. For more gaming news, check out our next article on the story-driven Autumn Season quests in Black Desert Mobile.
