Supercell has just unveiled the exciting Lumber Love season in Clash Royale, bringing a host of new content that blends high-speed battles with innovative strategic elements. This season introduces a new card, an evolution, several limited-time events, and the eagerly awaited return of the 2v2 Ladder.
Leading the charge in the Lumber Love season is the new 2-Elixir troop, Berserker. Unlike other low-cost cards such as Bats or Goblins, Berserker operates solo, sacrificing raw damage for enhanced durability. This makes her resistant to spells that would typically decimate swarm units. However, she faces challenges against stronger melee units in one-on-one combat, so strategic support is crucial to maximize her effectiveness. Curious about how she compares to other cards? Accompanying Berserker is the Lumberjack Evolution, the second Legendary Evolution in Clash Royale. This evolution introduces a unique mechanic where, upon defeat, the Lumberjack transforms into an invisible ghost while under the influence of his Rage effect. This evolved form, known as Lumberghost, can inflict significant damage on towers with his swift attacks. However, he remains vulnerable to certain spells and can be easily distracted by troops or buildings outside his Rage zone.
The Lumber Love season, spanning February, features a variety of engaging events and challenges. The season kicks off with Super Touchdown from February 3rd to 10th, followed by the Power of Love event from February 10th to 17th, where troops can switch sides mid-battle, adding a new layer of strategy. Runic Rampage, running from February 17th to 24th, showcases the synergy between Berserker and Rune Giant. Finally, the Lumberjack Evolution Draft Challenge from February 24th to March 3rd allows players to experiment with the new evolution. Each event offers enticing rewards, including banner decorations and frames.
Moreover, the beloved 2v2 Ladder makes its comeback from February 10th to 24th. In a notable change, the 100 Crowns boost has been removed from the Diamond Pass in Pass Royale.
