Bethesda to Announce Oblivion Remaster Tomorrow

Author : Isabella May 30,2025

In anticipation of what could be a highly anticipated reveal, Bethesda has teased an official announcement set for tomorrow at 8 a.m. PT/11 a.m. ET. The cryptic teaser, shared via their Twitter/X account, features a prominent "IV" and visuals reminiscent of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Fans have long speculated about a remaster, with rumors gaining traction over the years.

Initial whispers surfaced in 2020 when a leaked Bethesda release schedule mentioned a remaster for fiscal year 2022. However, given the timeline, it was plausible to assume the project had been shelved. Fast forward to earlier this year, when further leaks confirmed that the title was undergoing development as a full-fledged remake in collaboration with Virtuos. Last week, additional evidence surfaced on Virtuos’ website, showcasing images of the game in progress.

If these leaks hold true, the remastered version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will launch on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, featuring a Deluxe Edition that includes horse armor. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s reveal to confirm these details and uncover any additional surprises.
