Botany Manor Announces New PS5 Release Date

Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Finally Set for January 28th

Initially slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the PlayStation versions of the critically acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor have been delayed, but a new release date has finally been confirmed: January 28th, 2025. This applies to both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles.

Developed by Balloon Studios and published by Whitethorn Games, Botany Manor charmed players on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC earlier in 2024 with its relaxing gameplay and enchanting atmosphere. The delay, announced shortly before the original release date, was attributed to the developers' commitment to delivering the best possible player experience.

While the January 28th release date is now confirmed, a PlayStation Store page for the game is still absent. Pre-orders or wishlisting aren't yet possible. The game is expected to retail at $24.99, consistent with its pricing on other platforms, and will remain a one-time purchase without microtransactions. Unlike the Steam version, a separate digital soundtrack is not anticipated.

Botany Manor’s Strong Critical Reception

Botany Manor received widespread praise upon its initial release, boasting a "Strong" rating on OpenCritic (83/100 average score, 92% recommendation rate). Its blend of cozy ambiance, challenging puzzles, and rewarding exploration resonated with critics, establishing it as a top-tier puzzle game of 2024. Its arrival on PlayStation is expected to significantly enhance the platform's already impressive puzzle game library.

January 28th's PlayStation Lineup

With the PlayStation release, Botany Manor will finally be available on all its intended platforms. The developers, Balloon Studios, haven't yet announced their next project. Botany Manor will join other notable titles launching on the PlayStation Store on January 28th, including Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Sone of Madness.
