We gave the AMD Radeon RX 9070 a solid 8/10. Priced the same as the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070, it outshines it in most games we tested, thanks to its superior performance and larger VRAM capacity (16GB vs 12GB), making it a more future-proof choice. Power consumption is on par with the RTX 5070.

"The AMD Radeon RX 9070 is an outstanding 1440p graphics card that leaves the competition in the dust. It delivers stellar 1440p performance, often reaching high refresh rates without frame generation, and includes an AI upscaler for enhanced image quality. The only downside is its proximity in performance to the Radeon RX 9070 XT."

We awarded the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT a perfect 10/10. Despite being $150 cheaper than the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, it outperforms it in numerous games, with some benchmarks showing a significant lead. Both cards feature 16GB of VRAM. However, the 9070 XT consumes more power and runs hotter than the RTX 5070 Ti on average.
