December brings a front-loaded schedule of game releases for the Nintendo Switch 2, with only a few exceptions. This timing is strategic, as the final month of the year offers ample opportunity to find the perfect games for ourselves and as gifts before the holidays.
While Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is a major highlight, it's far from the only noteworthy title arriving. Marvel Cosmic Invasion, Assassin's Creed Shadows, and Octopath Traveler 0 are also standout releases this month.
Fans can also look forward to enhanced Switch 2 Edition releases of Red Dead Redemption and Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, alongside the first major expansion for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, titled Mega Dimension, plus a host of other exciting titles.
