Priced similarly to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070, it outperforms in most of our tested games and comes with a generous 16GB of VRAM compared to the RTX 5070's 12GB, making it a more future-proof choice. Our tests showed that it consumes roughly the same amount of power as the RTX 5070.

"The AMD Radeon RX 9070 is an outstanding 1440p graphics card that renders its competition almost irrelevant. It delivers superb 1440p performance, often reaching high-refresh rates even without frame generation, and also includes an AI upscaler for enhanced image quality. Its only drawback is its proximity in performance to the Radeon RX 9070 XT."
The AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT received a flawless score of 10/10 from us. Priced $150 less than the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, it surpasses it in several games we tested, with some benchmarks showing a significant lead. Like the 9070, it boasts 16GB of VRAM. However, it does draw more power and runs hotter than the RTX 5070 Ti.

"Since 2020, PC gaming has been in a lavish spiral, but the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT reminds us that it doesn't have to be this way. This graphics card effortlessly maxes out any game thrown at it at 4K, even with ray tracing enabled, and does so at a price that makes the competition seem exorbitant. While I can't predict the future, I hope the launch price remains competitive. What I do know is that the industry needs more graphics cards like the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT."
