Carmen Sandiego Celebrates 40th Anniversary at Japan

Netflix and Gameloft have released an exciting new update for the *Carmen Sandiego* game, sending the iconic character to Japan during the enchanting Cherry Blossom Festival. But don't be fooled—Carmen isn't there for a leisurely stroll; she's on a mission.

While the locals revel in the beauty of the Sakura season, Carmen is deep into a new case called the Free FestiVILE. This limited-time event runs from April 7th through May 4th, offering players an immersive experience filled with mystery and adventure.

As you delve into the mystery, you’ll be treated to stunning views of Japanese scenery, from the serene Tokyo shrines to the breathtaking cherry blossoms. To add to the cultural immersion, you can unlock a traditional happi coat for Carmen, trading her signature red trenchcoat for a piece of authentic Japanese attire.
