The eagerly anticipated movie was announced back in December 2023 and serves as a direct continuation of the MAPPA-produced anime series that debuted in 2022. The story centers on Denji, a young protagonist who gains a new lease on life by forming a pact with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. This partnership grants him the extraordinary ability to transform parts of his body into chainsaws, propelling him into a thrilling journey beyond being just a Chainsaw Man.
"Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc" will introduce audiences to the pivotal character Reze, who plays a significant role in the original manga. The film is helmed by director Tatsuya Yoshihara and scripted by Hiroshi Seko. Fans will be delighted to know that the entire voice cast from the anime series is returning to lend their voices to the movie, ensuring continuity and familiarity.
