Civ 7 Free Updates

Firaxis plans continuous free updates based on player feedback. Initial updates will focus on balancing, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements. Future priorities include:

Multiplayer team support for cooperative play.
Expansion to 8-player multiplayer across all ages via Distant Land system refinements.
Customizable starting and ending ages for single or double-age games.
Increased map type variety.
Hotseat multiplayer.

Specific release dates for these features are not yet available. Further commitments include in-game events and robust modding community support. This concludes the current Civ 7 roadmap for 2025.
