Civ 7 Free Updates

Firaxis plans continuous free updates based on player feedback. Initial updates will focus on balancing, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements. Future priorities include:

  • Multiplayer team support for cooperative play.
  • Expansion to 8-player multiplayer across all ages via Distant Land system refinements.
  • Customizable starting and ending ages for single or double-age games.
  • Increased map type variety.
  • Hotseat multiplayer.
