Prime Day kicks off with thousands of deals now active, including plenty of video game discounts. Shoppers can find physical games, PS5 SSDs, Switch 2 cases, and more on sale this week. For Xbox fans, Walmart currently offers the most compelling console deal with the Xbox Series S priced at $314.99 - the lowest available price among retailers. This presents an excellent opportunity to join the current Xbox generation, particularly with anticipated Fall releases like The Outer Worlds 2 and Ninja Gaiden 4.

Xbox Series S, 512GB SSD - Robot White
$379.99 save 17% $314.99 at Walmart
The versatile Series S serves multiple purposes - gaming, movie watching, or streaming your favorite shows. This bundle includes the 512GB Robot White console and an Xbox Controller. Subscribers to Xbox Game Pass gain access to Microsoft's first-party titles, now including games from Activision, Blizzard, and Bethesda. Note this is a digital-only console, meaning it won't play physical game discs.
Microsoft's recent price adjustments have caused some confusion - while the Series S originally launched at $299, the company increased prices earlier this year, setting the new MSRP at $379.99. This makes Walmart's $314.99 price point ($75 off MSRP) particularly attractive. Additionally, Walmart has marked down various Xbox controllers - perfect for multiplayer gaming setups.
