COD Mobile Season 8: Anti-Heroes Take Center Stage

Call of Duty: Mobile Season 8, "Shadow Operatives," arrives August 28th at 5 PM PT, introducing a cast of morally ambiguous characters that blur the lines between hero and villain.

Here's a breakdown of what awaits in Call of Duty: Mobile Season 8:

The new Combine Multiplayer map, a small research outpost set in the Sahara Desert, will evoke nostalgia for Black Ops III players. Its tight corridors and central courtyard offer intense close-quarters combat, with strategic high-ground positions on balconies and under bridges for snipers.

New weaponry includes the LAG 53 Assault Rifle, a high-mobility weapon ideal for aggressive playstyles. Pair it with the Assassin Perk to target killstreaks, or equip the JAK-12 Dragon’s Breath attachment for devastating firepower.

In the in-game store, the Mythic JAK-12 — Rising Ashes, a phoenix-themed weapon with flaming feathers, makes its debut. Owners of the Mythic Krig 6 — Ice Drake will unlock the new Awaken Weapon Camo, combining ice and fire aesthetics.

This season's Battle Pass offers a compelling array of free and premium rewards. The free track includes attractive Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Vault Coins, and the LAG 53. Premium Pass holders gain access to Operator Skins like Samael – Techno Thug and Zoe – Nocturnal. Nostalgic players can also revisit the Tokyo Escape Battle Pass from Season 3 (2021), now available in the Battle Pass Vault. Download Call of Duty: Mobile from the Google Play Store.

For another exciting gaming update, pre-registration for Netflix's SpongeBob Bubble Pop is now open.
