Crashlands 2 has just dropped a significant update, version 1.1, and Butterscotch Shenanigans, the game's developers, have listened closely to the community's feedback. This update introduces a variety of new features and challenges that players of the original Crashlands have been eager to experience once more.
What’s in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?
The highlight of this update is the introduction of Legend Mode, which ups the ante with a higher difficulty level than the existing Challenge Mode. In Legend Mode, the enemies on Woanope are not only quicker and deal more damage but also boast increased health points, making them a formidable challenge. On the other hand, Flux Dabes has become even more fragile. Although completing Legend Mode doesn’t unlock new achievements, it does grant you automatic access to all the achievements from the lower difficulty modes as a reward.
For those looking for a more relaxed experience, Explorer Mode has been introduced. This mode is perfect for players who prefer to focus on farming mushrooms, building a cozy home, and fishing without the constant threat of combat. Explorer Mode significantly reduces the combat intensity, allowing players to immerse themselves in the game's story, decorate their base, and enjoy interactions with the unique characters of Crashlands 2.
A fan-favorite feature, The Compendium, makes a triumphant return in this update. Responding to player feedback since the game’s launch, The Compendium meticulously tracks everything Flux discovers, from pets and recipes to items, helping players keep tabs on what they need to collect to achieve their goals.
Pets also got a bit of an upgrade
With Update 1.1, pets in Crashlands 2 have become more integral to gameplay. They now assist in combat and come equipped with unique abilities that can be activated every 20 seconds, adding a strategic layer to encounters. Furthermore, gear crafting has been enhanced with the introduction of random bonus stats on armor, along with a range of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets to discover.
Quality of life improvements are sprinkled throughout the update, enhancing the overall experience. Players can now build on a wider variety of terrains, customize the location of their home teleporter, and adjust the darkness levels at night to suit their preferences.
Crashlands 2 is available on the Google Play Store. It's worth noting that the game launched on April 10th, and this update is a clear indication that the developers are actively responding to player feedback.
