Finnish studio Kuuasema reveals Cthulu Keeper, a darkly humorous strategy game drawing inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft's mythos (with possible nods to Bullfrog's 1997 cult classic Dungeon Keeper). Currently in development for PC.
Players will "establish their own sinister cult and spread terror across the 1920s setting" according to developers. Gameplay involves constructing underground lairs, researching forbidden knowledge, and summoning eldritch horrors. Expand your influence by recruiting followers, infiltrating neighborhoods, and fulfilling dark agendas. Expect conflicts with rival sects and law enforcement - defend your domain using arcane traps and forbidden magic.

"We've channeled our darkest inspirations to craft a distinctive strategy experience that merges classic dungeon management with Lovecraftian existential dread," stated Kuuasema's Chief Gaming Officer Kimmo Kari. The game is now available for wishlisting on Steam.
