The narrative of World of Warcraft: The War Within continues. Beyond the Siren Isle update, Season 2 is anticipated in late 2025, introducing fresh endgame content and the next chapter of this expansion. However, Patch 11.0.7 introduces new story quests laying the groundwork for Patch 11.1, focusing on the Goblin capital, Undermine. A separate questline concludes the tragic destruction of Dalaran, though not immediately available upon patch launch.

Dalaran, a long-standing location in Warcraft lore, may not recover from the events of The War Within. The Dalaran Epilogue questline provides closure, offering a fitting farewell to this crucial social hub in Wrath of the Lich King and Legion.

How to Begin the Patch 11.1 Prologue
Unlike the Dalaran Epilogue, the "Lingering Shadows" campaign is immediately accessible. Completion of the leveling or Level 80 campaigns isn't required. However, completing prior story content is recommended to avoid spoilers and enhance understanding. The "Lingering Shadows" campaign comprises:

- Together, Alone
- The Voice
- Ringing in the Deeps
- Good Help These Days

After "Found Friends," speak with Orweyna. Her quest, while not part of the main campaign, offers insights into future plot developments within The War Within or subsequent World Soul Saga expansions.
Initiating the Dalaran Epilogue in World of Warcraft: The War Within
Initially, a three-week delay existed for the Dalaran Epilogue. As of January 7th, this delay has been removed. To unlock this campaign, complete both the leveling campaign and the Level 80 campaign (requiring Renown Four with all four Khaz Algar factions).
If unsure about your progress, visit Foundation Hall (the prologue quest starting point for Patch 11.1). The presence of Khadgar (post-January 7th) indicates readiness to receive the quest. His absence signifies unfinished campaign quests. The Dalaran Epilogue quest list follows:

Completing this campaign unlocks the "Fate of the Kirin Tor" achievement and the "Witness of the Kirin Tor" title.
