Dark Souls 3 Enhances Co-op: Now Supports Six Players

If you've always found Dark Souls 3 too challenging to tackle alone, now you can conquer it with friends. Yesterday, modder Yui released an exciting new modification that adds full co-op support for up to six players. This community-driven project, reminiscent of the fan-made co-op mod for Elden Ring, brings cooperative gameplay to an earlier FromSoftware title, making the daunting journey through Lothric a more enjoyable team effort.

Currently in alpha testing, the mod already allows players to complete the entire game from start to finish. It supports all multiplayer features, including invasions, and operates independently of official servers, meaning there's no risk of being banned. This ensures a safe and seamless multiplayer experience for everyone involved.

The optimized connection system ensures that co-op partners can join hosts from anywhere in the world, with quick and seamless rejoining after any disconnections. The Seamless Co-op mod removes all multiplayer limitations present in the original Dark Souls 3, enabling unrestricted playthroughs from the tutorial to the final boss. Additionally, enemy scaling can be adjusted to keep the difficulty balanced and enjoyable, allowing players to customize their experience to suit their group's skill level.
