Exciting news for fans of classic RPGs! A Steam database entry suggests a potential remaster of Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition is on the horizon. Details discovered on February 11th indicate a hefty 36 GB install size, support for seven languages, and Steam Deck compatibility.

Aspyr Media, the company behind the project, acquired Beamdog (renowned for Baldur's Gate remasters) two years ago. While this is promising, official confirmation is still pending as the Steam page remains unlisted.

Originally released in 2006 by Obsidian Entertainment, Neverwinter Nights 2 is a beloved Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 edition RPG set in the Forgotten Realms. Players unravel a mystery surrounding the ancient evil, the King of Shadows.
