Dead Cells Unveils Last Two Free Android Updates

The end is in sight for *Dead Cells* free updates, but fear not—the game itself remains alive and kicking! Since its launch in 2018, *Dead Cells* has been a non-stop thrill ride of new content. But all good things must come to an end, and the final updates for *Dead Cells Mobile* are here. Let's dive into what the Clean Cut and The End is Near updates bring to the table for Android players.

What’s in Store?

The final two updates, Clean Cut and The End is Near, have landed on Android. After these, while you can continue to enjoy *Dead Cells*, the developers have decided to wrap up the update cycle. These updates introduce some thrilling yet cursed elements to the game.

First off, you'll get your hands on four new weapons. The giant Sewing Scissors and the Misericorde sword stand out. The Misericorde packs a punch with massive critical damage on enemies below half health, but beware: fail to finish them off, and you'll be cursed. The Anathema, a heavy-ranged weapon, explodes on impact but curses you if it hits anything. There's also a new skill, Indulgence, which unleashes a beam of light for massive damage and can help clear some curses.

These updates also introduce new modes like Speedrun and Boss Rush DIY, giving you fresh ways to challenge yourself. Plus, there are 40 new heads to choose from, and an NPC who lets you swap them out as you please.

New Mutations and Enemies Too

Alongside the weapons, new mutations are introduced. Cursed Flask lets you use your health flask without consuming a charge, while Damned Vigor gives you a few seconds to kill an enemy and avoid death. Demonic Strength boosts your damage when you're cursed.

New enemies add to the challenge. The Sore Loser clings to you and curses you upon its death. The Curser shoots guided cursed skulls and slashes at you if you get too close. And watch out for the Doom Bringer, who can stack curses up to 50, leading to instant death.

Don't miss out on these final updates for *Dead Cells*. Head over to the Google Play Store and immerse yourself in the last of the new content while it's still fresh.

And stay tuned for our next news piece on the shutdown of the Adventure RPG *The Tale of Food* with Food Souls.
