Diablo 4 Unveils Seasonal Consumables for Season 5

Diablo IV Season 5 Leaked: New Consumables and Infernal Hordes Mode Revealed!

Exciting news for Diablo IV players! Data mined from this week's Season 5 Public Test Realm (PTR) reveals the addition of four brand-new consumables, exclusively for the upcoming Infernal Hordes endgame mode. This roguelike experience challenges players to survive waves of enemies, each lasting 90 seconds, with the choice of three modifiers to increase the difficulty and rewards after each wave.

The new consumables promise to shake up gameplay:

  • Antipathy: A rare anointment boosting player resistance.
  • Blackblood: A common anointment enhancing a random core stat.
  • Vitriol: A magical anointment increasing damage over time.
  • Triune Anointment Cache: A new cache containing anointments, rare gear, and crafting materials.

Interestingly, recipes for these anointments have also been discovered, suggesting crafting will play a role. While details on acquisition methods, usage costs, and crafting materials remain scarce (the PTR runs until July 2nd), these additions promise to significantly impact Infernal Hordes strategy. The mode also introduces Abyssal Scrolls, similar to Helltide's Profane Mindcage Elixir, for players seeking an even greater challenge. Stay tuned for further updates as more information emerges from the PTR!
