To kick off this milestone, RGG has launched an exciting fan-voting project that allows enthusiasts to have a say in what in-game items will be transformed into real-life merchandise.
Fans have the opportunity to vote on a diverse selection of 100 items, ranging from lingerie and incense to mahjong tiles, karaoke microphones, luxury lighters, 20th-anniversary sake, themed pillows, and the iconic dragon mask worn by Kiryu. These items reflect the rich and diverse history of the LAD series. The voting period, which began on February 8, 2025, will continue until March 21, 2025. Fans can vote once per day, and the top-voted item is guaranteed to be commercialized within the next two years. Following the voting period, RGG will launch a questionnaire to finalize the design of the winning item.

The celebration will begin with the release of Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii on February 20, 2025. While no further announcements have been made since, the studio's 10th anniversary, which saw the announcement of remakes like Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami, suggests that fans might anticipate more exciting news and possibly more remakes for the 20th anniversary.

RGG Studio revealed the PC requirements for Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii via a Twitter (X) post on February 10, 2025. The recommended graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or equivalent, which should be manageable for most gaming setups. The game is also set to be released on previous-generation consoles like PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, making the PC specs relatively easy to meet.
