Developer Dream Dock has unveiled their latest project, Dreadmoor, a thrilling first-person single-player action-adventure game inspired by the 2023 hit Dredge. In Dreadmoor, players will take the helm of a fishing trawler, navigating the treacherous waters of the post-apocalyptic Drownlands. The game is currently in development for PC, and fans can get a glimpse of what's to come through the announcement trailer and the first batch of screenshots showcased in the gallery below.
Dream Dock provides an immersive description of Dreadmoor: "Step behind the helm of a fishing trawler and set sail into a world where, after a global nuclear war, continents have sunk beneath the waves, replaced by scattered islands and submerged ruins of ancient civilizations. Sell your catch to survivors, complete quests, and move one step closer to survival. Keep an eye on your ship’s cargo hold—creatures might devour each other! Upgrade your ship and craft equipment to explore hidden depths and secret locations. Mutated creatures and sinister mysteries lie hidden in the deep and within abandoned structures, especially at night. Beware of radiation, as the danger is even greater out there…"

With over 100 species of fish to catch, the game promises a diverse fishing experience. The deepest and most challenging catches require the most unusual bait but also offer the highest rewards. Players will need to scavenge for resources and explore both above and below the water's surface. If Dreadmoor piques your interest, you can wishlist it on Steam to stay updated on its progress.
